Dr. Patricia Webbink - Empowered Learning
| | Dr.
Webbink, as a pioneer in the creative education movement, has helped
thousands of children and young adults discover the path to educational
enrichment.
Many young people become frustrated with education
because what they are learning simply does not make sense to them. This
is often improperly identified as a learning disability or behavioral
problem. However, once the students’ unique learning style is properly
identified, and the same material is presented in a manner consistent
with their learning style, information becomes easier for them to
process.
Organization, good study habits and skills, focus and
motivation are essential to success in school and in life. Especially
in transition years, students find themselves struggling as they forget
about assignments, procrastinate, and become distracted. Academic
success for even the brightest students is contingent upon good work
habits, planning and time management.
| | Our Empowered Learning
program has been carefully crafted by experts to transform learning
from a passive process to be endured, into an active means of
exploration. We evaluate students to determine whether their individual
learning styles are visual, auditory or kinesthetic. Once these styles
are identified, students are taught effective study habits, tailored to
their particular learning styles. Equipped with new ways of approaching
learning and studying, students are able to develop effective work
habits. |
