We Are
Founded by Dr. Pat Webbink, a therapist with 40 years experience, The
Enrichment Centers, Inc. has been offering extended learning programs
for Maryland, Virginia & Washington D.C. students since 1994.
Students of all ages and learning need benefit from our large, highly
qualified staff's tutoring and mentoring in after-school and summer
classes. Founded first as The Center for the Gifted and Talented, we
are certified to work with the No Child Left Behind program and teach
reading and math to at-risk children.

Mission
Through innovative and dynamic programs, we make learning an empowering
and enjoyable experience for all students. Our commitment is to the
education of the whole person, tailoring our teaching methods to best
suit each student's needs and abilities. We build self-esteem,
character and 21st century skills of innovation, cooperation and
technological awareness needed in order to thrive in a global society.

On November 20, 2012, The Enrichment Centers, Inc. was honored by
Capital One Bank with its Annual "Devastatingly Local" award in
recognition of our charitable contributions and community after-school
and summer education programs. | | |  |
The Baltimore Public Schools honored us with the "Best Instructional
Practices" award for our Supplemental Educational Services programs in
2009. This was the final award ever given of its kind. |
